Versailles is only about half an hour from Orly by car, but several changes away by public transport. Your driver takes you from the terminal to the palace or to your hotel in Versailles, at the time you choose.
About 25 km, usually 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Drop-off on Place d’Armes in front of the palace, at the town centre or at your hotel address.
The palace is closed on Mondays. Book a timed entrance ticket in advance and allow a full day for the palace, the gardens and the Trianon estate. Large suitcases are not accepted inside, so it is easier to go to your hotel first or to plan the visit on another day.
Many visitors combine Versailles with a stay in Paris. Book two rides: Orly to Versailles, then Versailles to your Paris hotel at the time of your choice.
